The inclusion of a guided tour of the Darrtown cemetery proved to be a valuable addition to the historical flavor of the Bicentennial. Persons who attended the Bicentennial in pursuit of information about Darrtown-related ancestors had a two-fold opportunity; the cemetery tour and the Ancestry Arena exhibit.

Rebecca Evans, an Oxford librarian and a local historian, with a special interest in Darrtown history, served as the tour guide and willingly shared her considerable knowledge of the cemetery.
