The Bicentennnial Welcome Center was located just inside the main entrance to E-Dot Park, on West Street.

Guests were invited to register in the Welcome Center tent.

Darr family members received a name badge and lanyard to wear for special recognition.

Maps of the United States and Ohio were positioned in the Welcome Center and guests were invited to place push-pins on those maps to  designate their place of residence.

29 U.S. states and Okinawa, Japan were represented in the Guest Registry.

The 29 states included: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington.
