A tribute to Ron appears on a page titled,  "My Ride with Ron."

Ron was an avid and active supporter of things related to Darrtown's past, present, and future. Ron's fondness and pride for the village where he grew up was demonstrated by his numerous contributions to Darrtown's Bicentennial celebration.

The Wiley family has suggested memorial donations in Ron’s name to the Darrtown Reunion Committee for upkeep of the Darrtown Memorial Park’s trees, shrubs and walkway pavers - or The Knolls of Oxford Future Care Fund.
