Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Butterfield are seated, at the center of this photo. The man standing next to Mrs. Butterfield, wearing the dark suit and bow tie, is Earl "Red" Huber, former proprietor of the Hitching Post tavern in Darrtown, Ohio.
Sandy (Ward) Jolivette provided the following comments about the above image:
"I had found a picture of my mother’s parents, Grace and Glenn Butterfield. They are seated along side Earl 'Red' Huber. I have no idea who the others are in the photo.
> Grace Butterfield – Homemaker, Mother of four – Sis (Zelma), Mark, Maxine and Marge, played Bingo at the Knights of Pythias Lodge No 578 (still standing) and a big time “Reds” fan!
> Glenn Butterfield – Traveled the world installing safes for Mosler Safe Company, liked his beer and ran bootleg with Red to Kentucky. Red and Grandpa were best buddies.
> Grace and Glenn lived in the two story, two family house across the street from the Hitching Post – it [that house] was the original Brencefield house."
