FAMILIES I-L: KENNEDY ~ Verl Kennedy
Verl Kennedy (1896-1979) and Zelma Kennedy (1899-1953) lived on Cherry St. (house number not available)
They had one child, Robert G Kennedy (1918-1993). Bob lived at 3034 Scott Road. Bob's first marriage occurred when he was in the military in England. He had one daughter from that union (no name). Bob then married Dessie Salyer (1908-1978). Dessie had a brother Carl Salyer who was a chef at the Huddle Restaurant in Oxford and was well known for his pies. He passed away in the 1990's.
Dessie had two children from a previous marriage; a daughter, Lois, who died as an infant, and a son, Richard Leichman, who lived in Darrtown at one time. Richard Leichman was married to Helen _____ . They lived in Darrtown during the 1960's and had two sons Ricky and Ronnie. Later, Richard Leichman married Joyce Weiser and they had four children. Both Richard and Joyce are now deceased.
Bob Kennedy's widow still lives at the Scott Road address and her name is Ruth (Middaugh) Kennedy. Before her marriage to Bob Kennedy, Ruth Middaugh had children and lived on Harris Road.
