FAMILIES D-H: DAVIS ~ Naming of Davis Corner

As noted in the following Oxford (Ohio) Press headline and news article, the Ohio legislature officially granted the name "Davis Corner" to the intersection of Ohio state route 177 and Ohio state route 73.

As explained in the caption to the following photo, neighbors and friends of Nell and Maria Davis participated in the effort to have the Ohio legislature grant the name "Davis Corner" and in the planning of a celebratory gathering at the Darrtown Methodist Church.
