RESEARCH
REGISTER OF BICENTENNIAL GUESTS
As guests arrived at the south gate of E-Dot Park, which was the main entrance to 2014 Darrtown Bicentennial, they were invited to register. We know that many people attended, without registering - either because they chose to not register, or did not know of the opportunity to do so, or entered the festivities at some entrance, other than the south gate.
Over the two-day event, we collected 24 pages of guest signatures, along with their home cities and states. An analysis of the registry revealed that the Bicentennial drew people from one foreign country (Japan) and 29 states ( Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington).
The images that appear in the following slide show were taken from the actual register of guests.
