COOLEY, WILLIAM (Butler County) [39.49420 -84.67470] Born on March 3, 1756, in Goshen, New York to Jabez Cooley. Served as a private in the New York Militia, during the Revolutionary War. He was married to Nancy Jones on January 8, 1793 in Madison County, Kentucky by the Reverend Feathergill Adams, Baptist preacher. By 1799, William and Nancy moved to Pleasant Run, in Hamilton County, Ohio. In 1804, the Butler County Commissioners recorded that William had killed two wolves for a two-dollar bounty. He moved to the lower end of Darrtown by 1815, where he lived until his death in 1837. He was a soldier, a weaver and a farmer. Both William and Nancy were members of the Baptist Church that was located next to Darrtown Cemetery. He and his wife left no children.He died on August 11, 1837, in Darrtown, Ohio and buried not, atShollenbarger Road Baptist Cemetery, but at Darrtown Pioneer Cemetery, Darrtown, OH 45056. HINSEY, CORNELIUS, (HINSEY), (Butler County) [39.49420 -84.67470] Born in February 1768. He served in the Revolutionary War. Lived in Milford Twp. Not identified. He died on April 28,1845 at 77 years of age and buried at the (Baptist) Darrtown PioneerCemetery, Darrtown, Milford Twp., Butler Co., OH. Roster of Revolutionary War soldiers buried in Ohio. IRWIN, JOHN (Butler County) [39.4942017-84.6746979] Born on May 24, 1757. He served with Delaware in the Revolutionary War. He married Mary Morton Welsh (1762-1836) in 1782; children: Morton, b. 1783 & Nancy b. 1787. He died on July 31, 1835 and buried at Darrtown Cemetery, Memorial Highway, Darrtown, Butler Co., OH45056. TEEGARDEN, MOSES (Butler County) [4505639.4942017 -84.6746979] Born in 1762, in Frederick, MD. He served as a Ranger with PA in the Revolutionary War, under Lieutenant Richard Johnston's Company on Frontier of Westmoreland County. He married Mary Huston(1765-1830) in 1786; children: Susannah b. 1800, Ann, George, William, Abraham, Walter b. 1791and Jacob. He died in 1844 in Butler County, OH and buried at Darrtown Pioneer Cemetery, Darrtown, Butler County, OH.
