In a September 19, 2023 phone conversation with the Darrtown webmaster, Darrtown native, Dale Bufler recalled the construction of cabin seen in the photo above.

Dale said he helped Bob Dees and Ernie Clark build the cabin, which was located on the east side of Darr's Run, south of the bridge on Scott Road.
