1898: Robert Meeks was listed as a musical performer at a Butler County teachers' association meeting, in Darrtown. Census reports show Robert's year of birth as 1900; hence Robert would have been about eight years old at the time of this event.
1900 CENSUS REPORTS RELATED TO ROBERT MEEKS

The 1900 census report lists John and Mattie Meeks as the parents of Robert and his sister Ruth. It seems reasonable to assume that John and Mattie were the first adult Meeks to live in Darrtown and, thus, assign Darrtown Pioneer status to both John and Mattie Meeks.
1910: Robert Meeks, at 20 years of age, was listed in a 1910 Hamilton (Ohio) City Directory, as a teacher living on Franklin Avenue.
1920: At the age of 30, Robert Meeks was living in Cuyahoga county, Ohio, with his wife and two sons.
1940: Robert, at age 50, still lived in Cuyahoga county, with wife, Ruth, and son, Benton.
Errors on the 1940 profile have been corrected.
1983: Robert Meeks, died at age of 73 years, in Lorain, Ohio.
According to U.S. Census reports and Ancestry.com records, Robert and Ruth Meeks had two sons, Shafor and Benton.
