After the storm and the condemnation of the school, temporary arrangments were made - by returning to the I.O.O.F. Lodge building.

The phrase "present time" refers to August 5, 1929, when this article appeared in the Journal News of Hamilton, Ohio.

The former I.O.O.F. lodge building stands in the NW corner of West Street and Schollenbarger Road.

The phrase "our present building," means the 1882 structure was built on the same site as the school now known as the Darrtown High School - which was built in 1926 on the south side of West Oxford Street in Darrtown.

The phrases "second grade one" and "first grade high school" refer to ratings assigned to individual schools by the Ohio State Board of Education.
