Darrtown's Lutheran and Methodist churches participated in the 200-year Bicentennial, by hosting eating events.
The Methodist church members helped start the big day by sponsoring a breakfast in their fellowship hall.
Later in the day, the Lutheran church members hosted a BBQ, with partrons having the option to eat in-doors, in the fellowship hall, or outside, under a tent.
